The Wallace in the North Vancouver Shipyards

If your wedding vision includes ocean views and city skylines, The Wallace in North Vancouver is the venue for you!

We love working with couples and creatives at The Wallace.  It is an industrial loft style space that is a complete blank canvas!  You’ll find it steps away from the boardwalk right off Lonsdale where it is surrounded by restaurants and above an ice skating rink.  Unique, hey?  Did we mention the city view that comes with it?  Vancouver’s skyline looks incredible behind every wedding arch we’ve set up at The Wallace, but the view isn’t the only appeal.

According to their 2023 package, here is what sets The Wallace apart from other wedding venues:

  • Great for any catering company: an open concept “servery” kitchen for food preparation

  • Room for the party: A bridal room is available for you for any outfit changes or hair and makeup touch ups.

  • Some equipment provided: A/V sound system with two wireless microphones +  projector ($250 per day).  Socan & Resound fees will be added based on event type.

  • Accessibility: Elevator Access to third floor

  • Bases covered: Rectangle tables, chairs, and washrooms are all included. Water, gas, and power capabilities on the outdoor terrace

  • Plenty of space: Spacious is one way to put it!  The Wallace provides 3360 square feet of open space with a 2330 square foot terrace.  This gives you a capacity of 200 standing and 180 seated, with indoor and outdoor options!

When it comes to the ideal wedding venue, The Wallace has it all; dream location, plenty of space, and creative control.

One reason we love working with The Wallace is because we get complete creative control when it comes to working with fellow vendors and couples.  One thing to note when booking The Wallace is that all decor, catering, etc. will need to be brought in by outside vendors.  This may be an added cost for you and your partner, so it is important to know!  However, the visions we’ve brought to life through vibrant florals and other decor have really transformed this huge space.  According to the venue website, they require that professional, experienced wedding/event planners or Day of Coordinators be used at each event.

See below for our past transformations of The Wallace.  If you’re interested in looking at their packages + rates more in detail to see how it’ll fit into your budget, head to https://wallacevenue.com.  We can’t wait to work with you from there!
