FOUNDER & PRINCIPAL PLANNER
While starting Elyse&Co in 2016 may have been an absolute leap of faith with only two years of experience in the wedding industry, it was the best choice. What started as planning youth camps, multi-day conferences, weekly and seasonal events, turned into being a Venue Manager for four and a half years, and now – the career of my dreams. I have been honoured to have planned over 50 weddings along with a dozen corporate and non-profit events.
Expanding the Elyse&Co team over the last couple of years and seeing our team grow in strength, knowledge, and experience has been a joy. No event is the same; no client is the same, but I will forever love seeing you enjoy your event with your guests.
Off duty, I can be found with my husband and our full-size two-year-old Berne-Doodle, surrounded by friends and family, involved in just about everything at my church, horseback riding, and being Auntie to all the kiddos in my life. From traveling to cozy nights in, I’m up for just about anything that life brings my way. I love celebrating moments, large and small, and I’m so excited to bring your personality, style, and people together in the best way we can!
Rachelle McBride
LEAD PLANNER & DESIGNER
A background in hospitality, years of experience as a venue manager, and my west-coast-casual personality is what I bring to my client’s experience and events. With a husband in the wedding industry as well, weddings are an important part of my life, and yet I never tire of them. I am passionate about planning all sizes of celebrations, parties, and events because of the logistics of ensuring every detail of the event falls into place, the creative expression in making each event unique, and because of the joy these celebrations spread. I have been planning since 2016, and with each year that passes, I gain pride in the experience I have gathered, and enjoy getting my hands dirty and connecting with everyone on the vendor team to make our events happen.
Off duty, you can find me doting on my corgi-mix dog, Nora, or cooking up a storm for my friends and family. I am a proud Auntie, lover of all things Italian, and passionate about making the world a better place. While I should be drinking more water, you can usually find me with either a decaf coffee or glass of wine in my hand. I manage the Wallace and Pipe Shop Venues, and truly enjoy immersing myself in the Vancouver wedding industry.
I love to plan cocktail parties, themed events, and gatherings that inspire the hopeless romantic in all of us, and am looking forward to hearing how we can work together to make your event the best it can be!
Remy Brayshaw

For as long as I can remember, I have always wanted to be a wedding and event planner. Ever since I was young, I have been turning everyday moments into unforgettable events. From all of my friends' birthday parties to family dinners, there isn't an occasion that I haven't planned and created an event out of. I am a big believer in celebrating life and all of its moments at any opportunity. My love for people and bringing joy to those around me are what continuously inspire me to help couples plan and create the wedding of their dreams, with ease and simplicity.
Off-duty you can find me reading, cooking, drinking coffee, spending time outdoors or enjoying a glass of wine with friends and family. I am a big fan of 70’s music and have a collection of vinyl that grows by the day. I love to travel, and there’s a very good chance that you’ll find me on the dance floor alongside you and your guests on your wedding day.
I can’t wait to help you turn your wedding day into the most memorable experience, from the early stages of planning to the day of your wedding I will be by your side helping you turn your wedding dreams into a reality.
